Hey guys, need help. My macbook pro retina late 2013 is shutting down constantly after 2 - 20 minutes work in normal mode. They have replaced (or so they say) the cooling paste, clean it up, did online recovery and complete diagnostics that came up totally healthy. Now they have idea of replacing top case. Safe mode doesn't shuts down. The line above keyboard is heating up rather strongly but not above 60. Please advise, what is this?

If it doesn't have the problem in safe mode, there's a good chance that the problem is with some 3rd-party software you have installed. It could be that your MBP will have a problem if it is put under a heavy load anyway but you should first find out which software is causing the problem.

Did they reinstalled system in place (without wiping your data) or did clean install?
I would:
0. Backup the data - twice and to different media, just to be sure...
1. Create a new user and try if that works.
Works? It's something you have installed and are loading in your profile. Remove all startup programs and investigate from there.
Still fails? It's in system. Could be kext or some other incompatible (likely old) crappy software or driver. I once identified issues with old kext which survived 3 major system upgrades in place. Yuck...
2. Wipe the disk/system and install fresh system without any data and programs.
Works? It's something you installed. In that case migrate data back but reinstall sofware _very_ carefully and only what you really need. Make sure you install software compatible with your system version.
Still fails? Some hardware failed.
