Hi,

I have a MacBook pro (retina, 15" inch, late 2013)

I have just updated to Sierra and after I did this my computer shuts down randomly.. Sometimes after 1 min, sometimes after 10 mins..

It only happens when i do NOT have an external display connected via HDMI or Thunderbolt. If I have that, then everything works fine.

It has nothing to do with how much CPU I am using.. I have also tried to reset the SMC..

When I do start the computer again, it doesn't come with an error log.

I have tried to run the Apple Diagnostics Test as well. The result was no problems with the hardware.

Does anybody know a solution to this problem?

Does having it plugged in effect the problem? And have you checked the Energy Saver settings, perhaps they got messed with. You can restore them to defaults.
