I have a 2016 13" MBP, and it struggles with Adobe Photoshop and especially Premier Pro.

I don't use AP a lot, but I am in Photoshop quite a bit.

I've heard the M1 in the air is sufficient to run Adobe, so if I can save $1k I'd be happy running with a MBA. (I use dual monitors)

Can anyone speak to moving down from the pro to the air? Thanks!

The M1 and M2 don’t support dual external monitors. There are some less than ideal workarounds that use USB and custom drivers but if want native dual monitor support you’ll need to look at a 14” or 16” MacBook Pro.

mmmm... jessica.'s beer...
Apparently the Air's won't run dual monitors, so if that is a requirement then you will need to get at least a 14" MBP. If it were a single external monitor you needed to run, the M2 air will crush whatever you can throw at it.
