hi all,

I'm now using a macbook pro retina 13in (early 2015). When I use safari, I sometimes encounter my mac totally freeze. The screen is on, but just freezed. I can't move the mouse, trackpad totally dead, doesn't vibrate when I click the trackpad. And when I close my mac(fold the screen), the screen remains on. All I can do is force shut down(hold the shut down button).
Is this a el capitan problem, or do I have an issue on my mac?

Honestly it may be hardware related from your description -- possibly Logic Board. However there are a few things you can try to verify it's not something else.

1) Uptime. Ensure you regularly (daily) shut down your Mac with 'Reopen windows when logging back in' disabled.

2) Run a volume verification in Disk Utility, ensure it's not corrupted in any way.

3) Try PRAM reset -- press and hold Cmd + Alt + P + R on startup, until you hear the Apple boot chime 3 times, then let go and let it boot normally into the OS

4) You can verify the SSD isn't corrupted by downloading SMART Utility here.

Keep me posted. :)

[doublepost=1460181112][/doublepost]my 2008 17" MacBook Pro with 8gigs ram isn't having this problem running 10.11.4 . Check all your updates...Restart in repair mode....and keep checking this site....there are folks here who know a lot more than I do......pram reset is a good place to start if running first aid in repair mode doesn't work for you the first time around...
this too will pass....

It has nothing to do with that. It's an well known Safari specific issue on newer machines, as seen from other threads.
He/she should use Chrome until Apple fixes the issue.
