Hi folks!

I live in Austria, so I own a European MacBook Pro. In a month or so, I will be travelling to China and I want to take my MacBook Pro with me. Unfortunately I have a bad feeling about that because I already wrecked a laptop two years ago, when I travelled to Thailand and wasn't carefull enough to take care about different volt rates.

So as I mentioned, I will be flying to China and wanted to get sure I do not end up with a damaged battery just because I was too lazy to take care beforehand. What can I do? Just buy the power-plug adapters from apple and everything will be fine?

Thanks a lot!

i'm curious about this too. if I were travelling from, say, Canada to the Phillippines would I also need to take some kind of precautionary measures? Or can the power adapter as is handle it?

cheers.
