I have the Early 2015 13" MacBook Pro Retina and I am looking for an Ultrawide monitor to use it as a single-display desktop. Not looking for a gaming monitor, just for general use.
The LG 29WK500 29-Inch Ultrawide IPS Monitor (2560 x 1080, 2x HDMI, 250 cd/m2, 5ms, AMD Freesync) has stood out but will the high resolution be compatible with the MacBook?, as I'm worried that it might be laggy.
Will I be able to use it at 60hertz?, and is connecting via HDMI the best option?
