I'm working abroad with my MacBook Pro, and will be purchasing the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit, but would like to work in the airports, on the plane, buses, etc which usually only have USB-A plugins. Is there a male USB-A adapter that can attach to the duck head that will actually charge my MacBook? If not, what are my options for this?

Thanks so much!

USB-A doesn’t provide enough power except for an overnight trickle charge. And you would need a USB-A to USB-C cable for that.

Use the original power adapter with appropriate duck head where possible.

If no outlet, get a high output power bank like Anker 737.
