I've been doing a bit of reading and I'm wondering if enabling PAE on a 32-bit edition of Vista, or using a 64-bit edition of Vista allows the MacBook or the MacBook Pro to address all 4GB of RAM.

read this thread but I think the chipset currently used in intel macbook/macbook pro only supports 3GB anyways
I've read that, but I'd really like to hear someone's experiences with Vista 32-bit or 64-bit. The chipset used in the MacBook Pro supports 4GB of RAM, but there is overlap with the addressing used by the hardware.
I'm sure it would work as long as the mobo is supported with PAE. Although I don't know how much of a difference you would see between 3GB and 4GB of memory. If you really need that much power you should probably be looking at a Mac Pro.
