I have a 2020 13 inch macbook pro (four thunderbolt ports)

I've had a recurring issue where I put it to sleep and then when I pick it up the next day the battery is fully drained because it woke up without reason and stayed that way until the battery drained. It's not always, but does happen relatively often.

The other day I caught it having woken up on its own as I went to pick it up and it was warm and I could (faintly) hear the fans running.

I have tried disabling Bluetooth before putting it to sleep, closing all apps, unplugging it, I have disabled the wake on lan and all other things that might cause it to wake up and it still happens.

Any thoughts on what might help?

Have you turned off wifi? Do you use Adobe products? They are potentials, I’m sure there are others. We live in a wonderful connected world. Leave your charger connected to survive it.

You’re still on Intel. It gets worse with Apple silicone.
