Here's the deal. My MBP has a whining sound (seems to be coming out of the speakers, but maybe not). Not too loud, but loud enough that I can hear it from operating distance in a quiet room. HOWEVER, whenever I push the mouse button down on a page in firefox, it goes away, and stays away for as long as the button is down. Any ideas what this might be?

According to Apple this is normal behaviour for the Intel Core Duo. My MacBook (Non Pro) has it too.

It is the CPU. It emites a high pitched ringing when it's not doing anything intensive.

Yeah, I did some research and found the same. Not to thrilled, hopefully they'll release a fix...
