Just Wondering how many others like me are out there. I have had 4 bad Apples in the last few months....never a one before the intel switch........

Well, my Macbook had 2 dead pixels so I brought it into the Apple store and now it's all fixed. I voted it had problems but it didn't bother me, but really it now is flawless.

??

You mean the "I have a macbook and the issues dont bother me." option? If so that does not apply because I had issues and they did bother me.

Maybe I am missing something, either literally or in your logic (it has been a long day).

Sorry long morning for me too, that is what i did mean :)

I have a MBP.. but mine has been perfect. I have had no issues like a lot of other people. Sorry to hear you have had such bad ones. I had a lemon of a g5 so I understand how frustrating it can be.. but to have that many. oy. Good luck! I hope you get a good one.

I think i will wait a bit before getting a new one, I hope the QC gets better :)

My MacBook Pro has developed the same issues as it did before the first time it was repaired and one more issue. It will have to go into get another repair soon. I never had a problem with any Apple computers before this though.

ive owned 3 macbooks 2 core duo white ones and now a core 2 duo black, the first ones had many issues even with the replacement apple sent me the ram i had in the first one wouldnt recognize in the second so ebay'ed it. Now my new black core 2 duo with 2gb has been running like a champ.

problem free

I waited till the Core 2 Duo came out. Ordered it the first day. Used it many hours since with absolutely no issues.

I haven't gotten my MacBook yet but when I do, and if there are problems, can I just bring it into the store to get it checked up first or is the best to call Apple directly?

My Macbook has three dead pixels, I've had it for two months or so. The pixels drive me crazy! They are not in the middle but I find myself looking at them constantly. Do you all think I'd have any luck taking it to an Apple Store and speaking with a Genius?

I havent had any serious problems with my Macbook.
Allthough I had to replace the ram (got kernel panics at startup and found out through a hardware test) got a new set from Apple and its been working perfectly ever since :)

I love mine, but my battery is toast which is pretty annoying since I don't live near an applestore and I can no longer bring it with me because it will just shut off with 20% - 30% remaining. No sleeping and I loose whatever I'm working on. Sadly the replacement will have to wait because I can't make it out to Toronto for at least 2 weeks. :(

i have my mb CD since october 4th
have had some issues that dont bother me that much, i closed it and it didnt went to sleep like 5 times and more crashes than expected in iLife apps
