Hey, planning on buying the blackbook very soon, but before I do I want to check one thing out. I plan on buying the stock blackbook, and not upgrading it as purchasing the ram by myself is a much cheaper option. However, I would like to know if the blackbook comes with 1gig of ram or 2 sticks of 512. I'm hoping 1gig stick so i can just buy another 1gig, but if its 2 sticks of 512, that will screw my plan over.

Thanks

It comes with 2- 512B sticks. The Apple price to go to 2GB is not that bad.

Yea, the only Macbook that comes with 1 stick of memory is the Macbook Pro. You could always sell the stock memory on eBay and probably make back some of the money.
