Macbook Questions ( Final Cut Exp & Monitor)

How will a C2D Macbook with 2 gb of RAM handle Final Cut Express? Any diff than the Macbook Pro? (And for that matter will how does it handle imovie?)

I want to do some light video editing.


Also, will the Macbook be able to display on a 22-25 inch external monitor? (the non apple kind). WIll it look as good on the external as on a MBP?



I'm going to be getting my first Mac, and want to make sure its for me, before I take the plunge on a MBP.....unless you all think its better to just go Pro?
