Macbook RAM in PPC Macs UPDATED - MBP RAM in MB

A friend has both a Mini G4 and an iBook G4 (I don't know any other specs, except the Mini has 256MB RAM)...I would like to give him my 2x512 from my Macbook and upgrade to 3GB RAM. Any ideas if my RAM will work in his Mac?
 
Damn! I have no one else to give it too, and its so much effort to sell anywhere for such little money...
 
You might aswell keep the sticks just incase your newly bought RAM suffers!

Also its worth keeping it for if you have to sned you laptop in for repairs. Its always best to put in the Apple RAM then they can't moan at you for putting 3rd Party Ram in!

Here's an idea:

You could give him the MacBook RAM and tell him to buy his RAM on a site that offers credit for your old RAM when you purchase new RAM. You can ask him to give you the credited amount. That way, since you don't want to bother trying to sell it, you could at least get something for it.
 
I'll get the new RAM when the price drops to £20 for 3GB. I'll probably give away the 2x512 (on the forums?)...
 
OK, so what about a Macbook Pro? Is the RAM interchangeable between MB C2D and MBP C2D?

She had a snake for a pet, and an amulet. And she was breeding a dwarf, but she wasnt done yet. She had gray-green skin, a doll with a pin. I told her she was alright, but I couldnt come in.
