I sent in my less than two week old Macbook to apple to repair a bad ethernet port yesterday. based on your guys past experiences how long does it usually take for apple to repair such a problem?

It's a logic board replacement, so it depends a lot on where you are, what the availability of parts are (they are ordered on an as needed basis), and whom you are taking it to for repair.

If you're shipping it back to them, I'm not sure on the MBPs, but in the past I've always had the fixed laptop back in my hands within 5-7 business days from shipping it out.

I prefer the personal touch you only get with hired goons.

Awesome, i hope to have it back by the weekend. I overnighted it via DHL so they should have sometime today. I was kind of disapointed that i had a problem with my laptop so soon, but apple has been nothing short of stellar with their customer service. I shipped it directly to apple.

Thanks for the super quick reply, if you ever need a goon, i'm your man.
