My guess would be around Oct/Nov time, There also will probably be some speed bumps along the way. :)

I doubt speed bumps constitute "revisions" because nowadays Apple can simply load a different grade of CPU into whatever machine they use on the assembly line and keep chugging out the same system, albeit with a better processor.

I'd say big changes that require a whole new chipset, and a logic board redesign, like the Santa Rosa platform next year, would be the coming revision for the MB.

You never know. Merom is going to have 64bit support, so it might be a good thing for Apple to tout as "new and improved". Maybe their next revision will advertise "Now moo, burn, and whine free!!!!!!"

Seriously though, they haven't even released MBP Revision B, which came out like 5 months prior to the MacBook, so it's going to be a while I'm betting :p

yea im kind of curious if the new mbp will come out in sept w/ the new merom chip before the college ipod special ends! that would be awsome!!!

I somehow have a funny feeling that the new model will come out one day after the promo ends. At least that is how it happened in the previous years, Apple is just using students as dumping grounds for their old stock.
