I am probably going to get myself a new macbook soon but i really want to wait for a revision so apple might fix a few of the macbook issues.
Does any one have any ideas as to when a new revision might be made?

Heh, I read that as May 9, 2012...

Isn't that the date PowerBook G5s are supposed to be released? ;) :D :)

Seriously, MacBook Pro and/or MacBook updates could possibly happen this coming Tuesday. :)

If you want to be sure about "no issues", consider getting a refurb.

In retrospect mine has no RRS, no dead pixels, no mooing, and a free 80GB hard drive upgrade. I can't be more pleased. :p

Yeah, I got a refurb Macbook. Its a beauty, no Moo, whine, discolorations, or heat issues. Its Perfect. Trust me, just buy one now, if newer tech comes out, you really won't notice, and you'll eventually forget about it after a while anyway.

The extra kicker is you can probably use your current MB to sidestep the first generation Meroms and go for a later platform :)

You lose some when you resell, but hey, you got it cheap to start with so it is a fair proposition.
