hi
just wondering if apple is planning to release a macbook on the santa rosa platform, or is it just the macbook pro's?
and is there any chance of a price drop on the current macbooks IF santa rosa macbooks are released?
thanks

omg...are u kiddin?
so did u mean santa rosa macbooks in 5 months or price drop in 5 months?

I don't blame Apple for it though, because if they put SR in the MBs, they would be too closely spec'd to the new MBPs. I give the MacBooks a MWSF 2008 release date with Santa Rosa. Don't take my word for it, but that's what I think is gonna happen.

Thats what I guess. So I bought the macbook, and planning to sell it by the end of the year. And get the newer version of the macbook

not if it came with integrated graphics

Macbooks will of course get upgrades... just probably not for a while... apple has to have a reason to sell MBPs for more money.
