I got my MacBook the first day that it came out and a couple of days ago i noticed that to the left of the iSight where the lite gray plastic and white plastic meet it is kinda comming delaminated or is getting warped....The lite gray plastic is not flush with the white plastic. Does anyone else notice this ?

OK..

Hate to use the car analogy but...

You get a new Civic. A few weeks after you bought it, the paint on the right-hand corner of the hood starts to peel off. You bring it to a Honda dealer and get "Sorry, it's within the reasonable amount that the paint should be chipping"

Where do they get this 'within spec' from? Do they have a manual saying how much finish can start falling off before they fix the problem?

I find that there is a little play between the plastic around the screen and the lid itself, primarily on the left side. I can push the plastic lip holding the screen in a little bit toward the lid.

Is that within spec? I was thinking about taking it to my local Apple Store to see if they could either fix it or would be willing to swap it out.

It is a way for the corporate culture to avoid accepting full responsibility for the finished product that bears the company name. Upon receiving dismissive treatment after voicing displeasure over a problem, customers should say, "That's fine, but please consider yourself informed that my credit card company will be notified that I am registering a formal billing complaint since I did not receive a satisfactory product and my attempt to remedy matters has proved unsuccessful. That is within my specs to do so."
