Macbook screen cracks when being opened

On the bottom left of the screen, when I open it, it snaps with the top right of the keyboard part of the macbook. I am passed my warrenty but my computer otherwise works just like the day I bought it. Just today I noticed a little crack on the back of the macbook right where the small screws are.
