Bought a MacBook back in November of 2007, and have been loving it ever since. I opened it up this morning and noticed that near the right side of the screen there's about a dime sized circle that is dim. It's more noticable in dark colors. I've cleaned the screen, but the spot stays...
What could cause this? There's no exterior case damage and for the most part, the laptop stays on a desk. It certainly hadn't moved from the last time it was spotless to when the spot started showing up as I was out of town without the laptop.
Any suggestions to fix it? Will Apple cover this on warranty? I fear it will only grow bigger. Right now it's just a slight distraction.
