Hi guys,

When I look at the screen (only on the desktop) from any angle below 30* (i.e. looking straight at it but from below normal eye-level) I can see a soft, wavy, kind-of ripple effect. Is this normal?

It also occurs (quite prevalently) when the screen brightness is turned down (only looking at the desktop though). Does anyone else experience this?

It's nothing to do with discolouration due to the viewing angles, my head isn't moving and it appears to be like soft moving lines going down the screen.

Thanks for your help guys!

My macbook does this also. As far as I am concerned it's a common flaw with the c2d macbooks. Call Apple (I will in a couple of months or so).
