So, I've got the Apple Keyboard I ordered from Apple just a couple of hours ago, and I've been using it with my desktop for a little while now. It's working quite fine, thank you very much. ;) There seem to be some shipping issues with the Macbook, however.

I ordered a refurbished black Macbook at the same time as the keyboard. The keyboard shipped on the tenth, and I received it today. However, the Macbook shipped on the seventh, left Sacremento on the eighth and there hasn't been an update in the tracking since then. The most unusual thing I noticed was that while the keyboard apparently shipped from somewhere in Pennsylvania, where it would reach me quickly, the Macbook shipped all the way across the country, from Sacremento, California. Does anyone know why one part of the shipment would originate in California, and one part would originate in Pennsylvania? Also, is this normal in any way?

Apple is a big company. Big companies have warehouses around the world. I would guess that the Macbook came from CA because I assume the "refresh" the Macbooks at Cupertino.

Edit: about the shipping update, the Macbook is probably on a truck somewhere, and I have never seen UPS/FedEx shipping update a page on a weekend. I would wait until about Tuesday, and call the shipping company to ask.
