Hey guys got a quick question. I noticed that when opening up my lid from sleep it turns on instead of me having to hit a button to wake it up from sleep. Is this normal????? I think I rememberd before that I had the lid closed and when I opened it, it didn't automatically wake it from sleep I had to hit the spacebar or something. So is everything ok????? Any settings I can look at for it not to wake up from sleep as soon as I open it?????? Thanks

Nothing's wrong. Everything is normal.

It should wake immediately when you open it.

My PowerBook G4 works like this, as did the iBook G3 I had before.

Oh ok thanks. I could have sworn before when I closed it and opened it up that it would not wake up yet. I had to hit some buttons to make it wake up.

i hve a macbook also.
if u immediately open it after you close it chances are that you will hve 2 press a button to wake it.

otherwise it will wake on its own
