Very strange... I have a new(er) MacBook 2.0 C2D. It's always taken 10-15 seconds to sleep - no matter what was running, uptime, etc. Then yesterday I installed BitTorrent, started to download a file, it was so slow I cancelled the download and quit BT. (I also was running Aquisition at the same time.) Then the computer was very unresponsive and lots of disk access. So I tried restarted from the Apple menu. Nothing happened - it just stayed on and at the desktop. Tried again - same thing. Then again and again. Finally it restarted, I logged in, things seemed to have responded strange, like in Safari after going to a site I was unable to type in the address bar. etc. So, I restarted again. Now computer seems to function as normal - EXCEPT... when I tell it to sleep it sleeps within 1 second, whereas before it was nearly 15 seconds to sleep.
Any ideas why such odd behavior??? Did BitTorrent screw something up?
