A lot of stuff has occurred with my Macbook lately. I had troubles installing windows on my Mac, for instance. I had to delete and re add my partition 2 or 3 times, or so. I had to manually reboot (Hold down for 10 seconds) 3 times or so. I've installed some new programs here and there, ect.

My Macbook has appeared to slow down some. Are there any ways of running some kind of disk defragmenter or something to that sense so I can speed her backup? Thanks!

Josh

Your problems probably go away on itself by January when Apple's supposed to release 10.5.2 update. There's something strange still going on with Leopard, which sadly is a commonplace nowadays when new systems are released.

Jaguar was fine in 10.2.5
Panther was fine in 10.3.4
Tiger was fine in 10.4.3

Perhaps Leopard will be fine in 10.5.2
