Alright.. so I'm fed up with trying to burn things on a dual layer dvd on my new macbook. I've tried burning by dropping file into dvd and clicking burn. I've also tried using Toast 8 titanium, both on 4x and 2.4x. Every time I get an error saying I have hardware failure when im more than half way done with the burn. Any help is highly appreciated!!!

Are you sure you're using DL DVD+R not DL DVD-R? Apple only supports DL DVD+R. Otherwise I'm not sure what the problem is. Sorry, man.
