Hi,

I orderd a macbook 31st october just before the update. It came and had a fault with the touchpad. I phoned up and was told they would send out a replacement of the newer SR model.

SR model never arrived. Again this one has a fault. Now the CD grinds discs. So I have rang again and again have been told SR is being sent out.

I was wondering if the model number was different on SR macbooks?

The 1st two which i have had have been MB061B/A where as the new replacement is MB061B/B.

Does this signify SR :D ?

Thanks,
Ben

Previous base Macbook was MB061LL/A and the new one is MB061LL/B.

Hmm I wonder why both of mine are different. They are from the UK store, if that makes a difference. Also It is the base model I have ordered.

I sure hope it's SR.
