i know this was posted before but i cant find the thread again. So i'll just ask. Sometimes, when i shut down the computer, the computer somehow stays on and becomes very hot. How to fix this?

Been there...done that.

Hi,

Just posting to say that I've got a similar problem with my MacBook too. it's happen the third or fourth time this week (that's more times than my Dell Inspiron would crash :( ). I make sure I close all programs before restarting or shutting it down, but when I do restart or shut down, I get the Mac Spinning Wait Cursor that goes on and on and on. Since there is no application running there is nothing that I can Force Quit. Then I have no option but to shut down the macbook by holding down the power button.

I get this issue every alternate time when I have to shut down my mac.

Thanks in advance. would appreciate any help can get.
