when customizing a macbook on apple.com you can up the 160 gig hard drive to 250 gigs for $150 or $135 on a student discount. i would like to have a lot of room for about 3000 photos, a lot of video, and about 2000 songs, plus many more. is it worth it and are there any alternative ways for expanding internal storage?

thanks, caj

:D

how do I go about doing that??

recommendations

You pull the battery, you remove 3 screws, you pull a tab to remove the hard drive, remove 4 screws, put 4 screws into new hard and drive sled, put drive into macbook, replace 3 screws, replace battery, drop in the leopard disk, install leopard, buy external SATA 2.5" enclosure for old drive.

check newegg.com for 250GB laptop SATA drives.
