My macbook is stuck at 98% battery life and it has been charged by the power adapter all morning.
What is going on.
Keep in mind, I got my macbook this Saturday.
Any response is appreciated.

I can't be sure about this, but I am relatively certain. Through various reasons your battery life wont stay at 100% and dips a little, however to preserve the battery, the computer wont start charging again until it drops below 95%. If there was a constant trickle of power into the battery all the time it'd be bad... I guess.

This 95% rule started when I had a PowerBook, but may have been going much longer, not sure, however, it's not meant to keep charging, lest your battery be utterly worthless in the long run.

Don't worry about it.
