anyone know if apple replaces the top case...does the top case include the actual trackpad and trackpad button?

Apple can replace the top case of a MacBook, but depending on why need it replaced you may have to pay for it out of your own pocket. The video below shows the disassembly of the top case of a MacBook. It appears the keyboard, trackpad and trackpad button all come off as one piece, but I'm sure you could get all or any of them replaced as separate pieces.
