I don't know if this is the place to post this but whenever I unplug my macbook from the power magsafe it turns off in about 1 to 2 seconds. The battery is fully charged when i power down and try to turn on after unpluging the computers sleep light turns on and i here the hd spin but then it turns off again. does anyone have any clue whats happnening i need help

Your power board or something of that nature is either defective or dead. You need to take it to the Apple Store to get it replaced.

When you've got it plugged in does your battery symbol in your menubar show an X in the middle? If so run software update and look for the battery update. Install that then if that doesn't work sounds like a dud battery.

battery is fine no x or anything i think its prolly what the first poster said man this sucks

When you unplug and it shuts down, if you click on the button on the bottom of the battery do all the lights light up? Definitely take Dynamyk's advice and phone apple. If it's a dud battery they'll send you a new one out to replace, if its a dud MacBook you will have to send it in for repair :(

Try to reset the PMU (turn off computer, take out battery, push power button for 5 secs) and reseat the battery. It may work, but it is probably a bad battery, as stated above.
