Battery issues aside i am delighted with my little MacBook.

I got a stock 2GHz (to save cash) and instantly put 2GB of RAM in it. It's probably time that little 60GB drive got replaced with another one though.

So I've got load of questions!

1 - What is the best value size/speed wise? I use parallels with Windows XP (soon to be Vista) and am going to use Ubuntu with parallels too. I keep all music and video on external drives but record a good bit of video to the internal disc using EyeTV. What size and speed would be best without breaking the bank? Any good UK suppliers?

2 - I'm going to upgrade to Leopard so would it be best to wait for it's realease to upgrade and put it on the new drive or should I just get the disc and worry about it later?

3 - Finally - is it easy (those of you that have done it)? Any pitfalls to be aware of?

Cheers! :)

Speed doesn't entirely matter unless you're doing really HDD intensive stuff like video editing.

So I'd go for a 120Gb or so SATA drive - from OWC, they're $100...

I don't have a MB, but it's just a pull out/push in swap. iFixit have a guide. I'll root it out.
