Right, after seeing Apple have released a patch to enable faster network speeds on the core 2 chipsets, how can I go about enabling 108Mbps transfer on my core duo macbook (not core duo 2).

In windows I get 108Mbps connection to my base station, but in OSx I'm stuck in 54Mbps. Sure, the real world difference isn't all that, so when will I be able to enjoy the better network performance my hardware is capable of supporting?

It's don't believe it is a patch, more a firmware upgrade (or unlock) which enables the (currently unverified) IEEE 802.11n Wireless specifications and allow up to 108Mbps network speeds.

You Core Duo Macbook does not have the Wireless n airport card which means your hardware can't do 108Mbps speed connections so sorry but nothing you can do will allow for a 108Mbps connection from your Macbook.

While I appricate the reply, if I don't have 108Mbps hardware, why in windows xp am I syncing at 108Mbps?
