iPod Macbook with 1.0USB port???

Hey
I just plugged my 30Gb iPod video to my brand new BlacBook 2.2C2D and iTunes displays a warning saying that my iPod is connected to a 1.0 speed USB?? and that I should connect it to a 2.0USB!!! WTF???
I've changed the USB port of the other one, and still get the same warning??

The only other thing plugged is my external HD but through FW.

any thoughts???

That's really odd... the only thing I can tell you is to restart
