Hey all. My brother's MacBook is suffering the dreaded blinking question mark at boot up issue. My first instinct was to connect it to another machine via Target Mode and re-bless the System folder. I tried that, but it didn't seem to work.
Earlier in the night we had connected my brother's laptop to my dad's laptop to watch a movie (the file was too big to copy to a flash stick, and there's no room on my dad's HDD to copy it over once Target Mode'd). The movie loaded fine, but when my brother tried to take his computer independent this happened.
On a side note, his MacBook was suffering from the endless Setup Assistant syndrome just yesterday.
