I updated to Sierra 10.12.3 doing the normal process through the app store, and after it updated and rebooted, it doesn't boot into the OS anymore for some reason. Not sure what happened and I don't know how to fix it without losing my data. O just updated it normally like every other update and this happened. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

This is the screen I'm getting after the update.

Have you tried to boot into the recovery partition and reinstall macOS? That shouldn't delete your user data but will replace the operating system with a fresh install.
