I am trying to connect my mackbook unibody with iphone via bluetooth. I got as far as getting the 2 paired. Then on the iphone I press my macbook and it connects for a sec. then disconnects. Any one has been able to keep them connected? Please help!
I need this for Internet tethering. USB works like a charm but I hate the wire.

i have been trying to determine how to do that as well, but for a texting application.

I have the same problem, mine used to work, however has suddenly stopped, i don't know if it is due to an apple update or something maybe to stop tethering (i was using the BenM tethering hack)

Last time I tried was before the iPhone 3.0.1 update... after the update reports stated that the BenM tether hack still worked.

I just tried to connect my phone and it's not connecting either.

I still have the good old 3.0...

i tough it was a problem with my iphone or macbook

My 3G with the benm thing mod, hehe, works perfectly , then one day (like 2 weeks ago, maybe more) it wouldnt connect, so i didnt think it too much and stop trying, that was on 3.0 and i didnt change anything on the phone ...

Ohh i should add i havent tested on my 3GS...

So i decided to give it a shot and upgrade to 3.0.1.... And still no go.. Im surprised that no has a way of syncing the 2 devices.
