Happened with me yesterday. The DVD went inside but did not mount. I tried to eject it using the KeyB button. Didnt work. Tried rebooting. Still didnt work. Reboot again. This time kept pressing the eject button again n again as soon as the MB started booting up. It took some time. After 1-2 min the DVD came out and only after that OSX was able to start. Try it.

It keeps trying to eject, it just doesnt come out...
I remember mine behaving like that too. Just keep pushing the eject button as fast as possible.

If it still doesnt work, time to use your apple care. These slot drives do suck(pun intended). But I really think you can get it put this way. Just make sure you dont use that disc in your MB again.

Try inserting a business card underneath the dvd when you hit eject. Don't push the business card all the way in, just keep hold of it and gently use it as a kind of lever under the disc.
