Macbook won't run on battery

Hi

My friend's Macbook won't run on the battery. It says the battery is full. We have it plugged into the AC min supply, and it works fine. Then we unplug the power from the computer and it just goes black.

Any ideas?

Either a bad battery or it's not properly inserted.

I dont think she has every taken the battery out, and she has had the computer for a year. It seems to be in there fine. Could the battery really have gone kaputt after only a year?

Have her call Apple and she will most likely get a new one sent to her for free (as long as she sends the old one back).

I have just got a new battery about 2 months ago and this one is rooted as well...
