I regularly connect to a wireless access point at work that uses WPA encryption. I've never had any problems until today. It appears that I am connected as normal, but there is no actual activity. If I try to connect to www.google.com, for example, there is a long wait where nothing appears to be happening, and then I'll eventually get the error page with a message like "Safari could not open the page www.google.com because the server stopped responding."

When I configure the access point to use no encryption, or to use WEP, everything works fine. As soon as I go back to WPA or WPA2...nothing. I have tried to delete the Keychain entries for the connection, remove the Airport preference file, change the SSID of the access point, and restart, and have had no success.

The Windows machines in the same office are still working as they usually do.

Again, I've been using this same setup for months with no problems. I did update to 10.4.10 last night, and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with this.

The wireless access point is a Netgear WPN802 v2 with the latest firmware.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same problem here with a SR MBP and Netgear WGR624 ... I guess it has to do with the airport n card and Netgear.
