aww my macbook core 2 duo has gone yellow again. :(
I bought it about 6 weeks ago and then it started to go yellow so I took it to an Apple Store, they replaced the case and then I got it back about a week ago and once again its already started to go yellow around the palm rests.
I didnt think the Core 2 Duo MacBooks had this problem and I thought it was only a few of the MacBooks which had this problem. This is sad :(
Is there anything I might be doing to cause this ?
Its frustrating, I always seem to have the worst luck with things.
Since its happened for the 2nd time would they most likely replace the actual MacBook or just the case again? Because if it happens a 3rd time I'll be awful distraught.
Thanks a bunch in advance!

Why would they replace a perfectly serviceable computer if the case was the only issue? I would have thought that there is a degree of user responsibilty involved here - the porus cases were replaced a long time ago and it's not as though large number of users have been reporting the issue of late.

It could be any number of things to do with the environment you work in or elements you are bringing into contact with the case.

Get a mr. clean magic eraser. Wet the eraser slightly, then use it on the discoloration. It took mine off, then i put an invisible shield on it. be careful not to rub too hard.
