i take quite a few pictures sometimes with my nikon d80 and im about to buy a macbook and i would like to know if they are ok with photoshop? i would be waiting for ps cs3 but im wondering if the macbook is ok for using photoshop like an hour daily

i would be using a 19¨external monitor too

Yeah, the macbook runs PS CS3 Beta fine, not brilliant but fine. Mine is a 2GHz CD 1GB RAM. The better you want it to run, the more RAM you need...

I've run the beta fine on my Macbook, CS3 is much much faster than CS2. Runs well.

On my GF's MB 2.0 C2D with 1 GB RAM the CS3 beta runs really well. But then again I am coming from running CS on a 1.33 ibook G4.

Can't wait to try it out on my MBP when it arrives. /**Cross fingers**/
