Hi all,
It's really been a long time since I actively ventured into these forums. So much has happened since my active student days over a decade ago, when I had an iBook G4 12 inch, and a Mac mini G4 and boy how time flies. I'm still all in Mac, currently with a MacBook Pro 13 inch (2019) but over the couple of days, and having too much time on my hand, though not sure why, really. It's not as if something BIG and important is happening outside, wink, wink. So, yes, in the spirit of reliving the 90s and outcasting everything current, I took it upon myself as a mere duty, to browse said internet and found a local listing of LC475 after reading Alex Roddies brilliant post on his experience with a vintage Mac - the LC475: Two Months Writing with a Vintage Mac
It captured my state of mind correctly. I think it's a sense of reducing the noise around me and to experience a simpler time.
Anyway, I will be picking up the LC475 next week and wanted to know if anyone here could offer any experience and tips for how I should go ahead? I've never used System 7.5.3. My first introduction was 10.4 Tiger. I'm including a generic picture of a LC475 but will be sharing the pictures as soon as I pick up the system. It includes, mouse, keyboard and 13" monitor.
