Ok. so my macbook pro (2005 or 2006(cant remember) is intel based and every time it reaches around %50 battery life it shuts down without warning, no screen pops up, the computor just dies. WHAT IS WRONG!!?!?!?!
p.s. i watch alot of porn, could a virus do this from a site like that?

Sounds like your battery is broken, or their is another hardware bug.

You could try resetting the PMU by switching off the machine and disconnecting the battery/power cord, and holding the power button for 5 seconds.

If that doesn't work I suggest contacting Apple.

This sounds exactly like what happened with my MBP two days ago. My battery would only hit 75% then my MacBook Pro would shut off without warning, the same as yours. I couldn't calibrate the battery, charge it, or even use it. I tried resetting the PRAM/NVRAM and the SMC, but it didn't help a bit.

The conclusion was that Battery Update 1.2 'bricked' my battery (I know, odd). I've already had mine replaced via airmail (only took 48 hours, I'm actually calibrating it right now).

Here's a support article to see if you've got the same case as I did:

Call support. Even if your MBP has no warranty left. I do remember reading that the battery update last month can cause this and apple will replace it if you have this problem.
