I have two questions regarding MacMail. First, is there anyway to download headers first so I can delete messages before reading them that I may not want to download. Do I have to do this on an IMAP or can I use POP. I am going to working in Africa and connection times are precious and the SPAM can kill me sometimes at slow connection speeds. If not what other options do I have? Is there a UNIX or OS X text only mail client I can use instead. Secondly, I have encountered a problem sending picture files to various recipients ,such as AOL users, through webmail. They simply tell me that the pictures never arrive. I then need to send it through another mail program as an attachment. Can I add pictures as an attachment in MacMail instead of just placing it in the email. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
