Somebody is very excited! I have ordered a MacBook for my brother and they are very reliable. I am from Jersey too and it took with Ground 3 days. If you order Friday you will get it either Tuesday or Wednesday. Yes they are all brand new. Make sure you check if they have any left (call MacMall).
 
I've ordered from them many times including major CPU purchases and never had any problems. The only issue I had was that they often shipped things in the original carton. No outter box or protective box. Just the orignal box with the labels and everything for everyone to see. But most online dealers do that now, so it's not really a gripe I guess.
 
Sweet if I order it early friday morning then it should ship same day! THen I should get it tuesday hopefully! that be awesome I saw the review on cnet with my exact macbook pro and it got a 9.3 out of 10 out of 13 reviews! I can't wait. I'll let you guys know how things go! Where do you live in jersey exactly? I live in a town called lumberton which is next to Mt. holly!

well I'm gonna roder from them anyway! Anyone else have any comments on this topic?

We ordered our Performa many moons ago and our current iMac (G3) a few years ago as well. I have also purchased small peripheral items in the past; cables, software, usb hub, etc. I never had any problems with them, though I never had to deal with any customer service issues.
That said, I am going to order our new iMac from the Apple store on line. We are taking advantage of the educators discount and we are going with a BTO order as well.
I would not have too much problem ordering with MacMall if I was looking for a stock machine. And they do have some tempting extras if you need a printer or particular software package that they happen to be offering.

Pros and Cons -

Pros: great deals, quick shipping, good customer service for most items

Cons: no apple product return, must go to manufacturer :apple: - so, if you are thinking of getting an :apple: then make sure you like it before purchasing, go to an :apple: store and check it out first. Friend of mine got 17" HD 2.4 recently. It really looks fantastic doing graphics but trying to do word processing, way too high on the resolution. Tried to replace with non HD within 1 day and told "no can do", must speak with :apple: . Called :apple: and they said if we had purchased from them we would have been able to change out. :( Live and learn. ;)
 
ok we'll i'm going to order it! I used my friends MB 2day and loved it! but thanks for the advice! Anyone else? Your entitled to your opinion!
 
I've always had a good experience with them, and they do offer nice freebies. If you're a repeat customer, you can also typically negotiate free AppleCare
 
also if I buy this off of macmall can I go to an apple store and get applecare or do I have to order it 2gether?
