Hi,
I've got a MacMini 2010 server (2x 500gb HDD), which I've converted to a single SSD. Machine runs smoothly, but the fans are now running at full speed. I know this is probably because of the temperature sensors.
When I installed the SSD, I only re-attached one temperature sensor using position #2. (Thinking that one temperature reading should be good enough).
Do I need to re-attach the other two sensors in position #1 and #3?
Or can I move the single sensor from #2 to #1 (or #2 to #3)?
Thing is: one of the sensor's cables came loose during disassembly, so at the moment I only have 2 that I could use.
Thanks very much!
