It should be running all right, but i'd wait for the 2012 model (if it comes) because of the rough 60% more gpu power in the HD4000

I agree, but if you dont want to wait. The higher level mac mini with the Radeon graphics card will handle it well enough at medium settings. I dont know how well it would run on ultra though. I have the base model and it only runs on low well.

WoW is well known for being CPU intensive, rather than GPU intensive. The graphics card changes result in very little performance increase.

well, for sure it's really CPU hungry! But running it at 1920x1080 for sure it needs a "good" GPU to handle it. Dont know if Radeon card on the hi model can do it but i need it to run ad 1920x1080 in 25man raid (medium setting to show all ground effected of mob).

IIRC on my HD3000 machines (2011 MBA i5-1.7 / mini 2011 basis) i had to tune down graphics to medium-low to get around 25-30fps (depending on area) while simply strolling around.

For serious dungeon work (and even more so in 25-man raid) in FullHD I'd see the Radeon mini being the bare minimum for a halfway smooth experience (and chances are, it'll still choke when it matters most).

Have to admit that it's a few months (early beta) now since i did that - latest optimizations may have improved things a bit, but i paid no attention to it on my main computer...

@Neodym: well, as u already know for seriuos raid work you need atleast 30fps with no scattering. I dont think radeon can handle it at 1920x1080. It would be very cool if you could try on your macmini current pandarian content in raid and let me know.

Sorry - i'm not into raiding anymore and the mini is now on headless server duty. The only thing i could offer you short-term would be a quick test on the MBA in solo mode...

@Neodym: thanks. Let me know of much fps it does on MBA (tellimg me also model :) and if you run on a 1920x1080 res :) ).

@ALL: If anyone is able to run Mist of Pandaria (or even Cataclysm raid 25 man) on actual MacMin and tell me how much fps it can handle at 1920x1080 it would be very nice.
